Sun’s John Gage said “the network is the computer”; In Internet Era of politics we should expect that the network is the campaign/political process. We will cease to imagine the construct of the ‘user’ — everyone is a node on an intellectual — global conscious. A blog is nothing more than a client/server connection — your mother’s address book is peer-to-peer. The exchange of political expression is no more of a sophisticated network than Napster ever was. Some nodes are bigger, closer to ‘a center’ — more connected, but no node is alone. The game now — collect/connect the dots — win the nodes. Win the election?
